I want to move to Germany to a certain land as a refugee. Tell me, please, what is the sequence of actions? What should I do and what documents are required? Can I apply online? And can I find housing and then receive compensation from the Job Center? What should be the criteria for this? Are there any reasons why I cannot be registered as a refugee?

mhgdgh42 Thank you for your reply. It is not possible to register online as a refugee. You also cannot go to any city, you need a confirmation that the state accepts refugees from Ukraine. If they do not accept refugees from Ukraine, then you cannot go there. There is a need for registration in an apartment, which you will not have if the state does not accept Ukrainian refugees. "How long does the whole registration take?" - It depends on the authorities, there have been cases where it was done in a few weeks and cases where the whole process took 1 year.
"Can I find an apartment and then get compensation from the job center?" - You will get this information from the Jobcenter during the whole process and your interviews.
