I came to Germany with my spouse Blue Card in 2022. In 2023 she got a EU passport. I'm currently working and want to change my status, instead of a family visa for blue card, apply to a family visa for EU nationals. Our current blue card permit is still valid until 2026, although my wife will be unemployed as of January 2025 so there is some uncertainty. My question is: does she needs to do the Anmeldung again, this time with the EU passport? What would happen to my permit, considering I'm currently working?

If you want to apply for a residence card, I suggest you go through the whole change of residence process with a migration advice centre.
