I would like to request some information regarding my work permit in Germany. I am in a refugee camp in Augsburg and been a month since i am here. My first interview date is on 7th February and I have already found a job with a good company with the good salary and I would pay taxes too. The campany is waiting for my work permit to send them and they will ask me for the orientation day.
So the issue is here that i dont have work permit till now, do i need to wait for the interview day to ask for my permit from those people, and would they help?
or do it need to directly send my application to local district office for the work permit?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately you can apply for a work permit at your immigration office ("Ausländerbehörde“), if you have been in Germany for 3 MONTHS and you don’t have to stay in a refugee camp.
If you still have to live in a refugee camp and you have children you can get a work permit after 6 MONTHS.
If you don’t have children it will take longer- 9 MONTHS.

Dear Fazila Mohammadzai , here is the answer from the expert:
"This depends on whether you live in shared accommodation (Gemeinschafstunterkunft) or in an arrival centre (Erstaufnahmeeinrichtung) also on your nationality. If you live in an arrival centre (Erstaufnahmeeinrichtung), you are not allowed to work for the first three months after your arrival. If you have children, you will be allowed to work after 6 months. Without children after 9 months, even if you are still living in an arrival centre. However, you must then always apply for a work permit for the specific job at the foreigners authority (Ausländerbehörde).
If you live in a shared accommodation centre (GEMEINSCHAFTSUNTERKUNFT), you are USUALLY ALLOWED TO WORK, but only with the permission of the foreigners authority.
To do this, you must submit the employment contract from the future employer with an "Application for a work permit for employment as xy at company xy" to the foreigners authority.
An additional letter from the employer stating that they are particularly reliant on the worker, for example because there is a shortage of workers in this area, is always an advantage.
Please note: If you come from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Ghana, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Republic of Moldova, Senegal and Serbia and have applied for asylum in Germany, you are unfortunately not allowed to work at all."
