We recently moved, however my partner has to be out of country because of work until September. My first question is:
1) Can I do the anmeldung for both of us, without her not being present there?
2) What happens if our names are out of the bell at our previous place and if we can't register in the new place until September?

Hi ayset thank you for your question. This depends on the region you are in. Usually for families and partners (married couples) it might be enough if just one person comes and does the registration for all. I would advice to call the so called "Bürger Telefon" or ask in the responsible agency. The other possibility, if they require your partner to be there, is to write a so called "Vollmacht" or letter of attorney. The format again depends on the city or federal state you are in, most cities accept an informal paper where the information (full name, date of birth and address) is written and signed.
