Hello!
We are two Ukrainian citizens who are waiting for our Resident Permits. However, as we constantly move, we can’t get a registration appointment on time and we are afraid that our documents come to our old address, where we don’t have our names on the bells any more. Is there any way for us to get the Pin Codes? Can we receive our Residence Permits in person in some place?
Details: we do not get any social help from the state and as my work place is in Munich, we struggle with finding a long term apartment but actively searching for already 2 months. We lived at friends, then in Airbnb’s, then at other friends. We now are searching for cheap Airbnb’s and we move every 1-3 weeks.

Hello, xzm79tfngw, thank you for your question! Indeed, it is very difficult for many refugees from the Ukraine to find permanent housing, I can understand how stressful that is. You should make an appointment and go to your local immigration office to ask if you can receive the residence permit in person. (As I understood you already applied for it). It is still important that the immigration office can send you letters. You mentioned you lived with friends before, you can ask them if they are willing to take your letters for you and you can pick them up from their house, until you find something permanent. Please inform the local authorities that your address has changed. You can try doing this via this site: https://service.muenchen.de/intelliform/forms/01/02/02/aufenthaltukrain… and say you want to make some changes. You can also let your local immigration office know when you go there.
