Visit visa | Together in Germany

Hi sir

I’m Zabihullah nasiri from kunduz Afghanistan. There is my friend from Germany she lives in Stuttgart. I want to visit her family. Can I get visit visa through the sponsor letter or invitation letter if she send me ?

Hello zabih84, thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to receive a visa through a so-called declaration of commitment for a short term or long term stay. We have more information on this here: https://handbookgermany.de/en/declaration-of-commitment-visitor-visa

Please note that short term visas can be rejected on the ground of lack of willingness to return.

I am ZabihUllah Nasiri from kunduz Afghanistan but now I’m living in Pakistan as legal Afghan refugee. My fiance has sent me already an invitation letter here to Pakistan . Now how I contact to German embassy and how I reach myself to embassy? Which documents embassy needs however I have my own Afghan tazkira and Afghan passport here in Pakistan . I also have an Afghan refugee citizen card which is issued by United Nations through Pakistan NADRA authorities . How I take an appointment for interview to German embassy and when they will giving me visit visa ? I meant how much time it will take ? Is it possible that German embassy will give me visit visa or no ?

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you if the German embassy will issue you a visa or not. This is up to the authorities to decide.
