Hello Ruslana, if you have applied for a residence permit according to Section 24 of the Residence Act, you are allowed to work. You should receive a so called "Fiktionsbescheinigung" from your local immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) which states that you can work. That paper should state “Erwerbstätigkeit gestattet” (i.e., "Employment permitted"). That means you can work as an employee or become self-employed. You are entitled to this once you have applied for a residence permit in accordance with Section 24 of the Residence Act, have undergone identification procedures and are staying in Germany.
