Hello alexboelter, thank you for your question. In general you can receive Bürgergeld which includes health insurance and housing support to a certain amount. However, whether or not you can receive Bürgergeld depends also on your current residency status and some other conditions. For example enrolled university students are not allowed to receive unemployment benefits.

Dear alexboelter, with a mini job you will probably not be eligible for unemployment benefits. In order to be eligible for unemployment benefits you have to contribute to the "Arbeitslosenversicherung" for at least 12 month in the last 30 month. An insurance for unemployment benefits. Usually, when we work, our gross wage will partly be contributed to the unemployment benefits insurance. But with a mini job, you do not contribute to that (gross=net).
If you had another job before the minijob, or contributed voluntary to the unemployment benefits for at least 12 month, then you can apply for unemployment benefits.
If you are not eligible for unemployment benefits, you might be eligible for Bürgergeld or another kind of social benefits. As Yara _Community Manager it depends on your residency status and some other conditions. I would suggest that you contact a local "Migrationsberatung". They can tell you what's possible. Also maybe they can support you with applying for a german class.
But attention: maybe the jobcenter, the institution that pays Bürgergeld, might sanction your social benefits, because you quit your mini job without an important reason. I would advise you to arrange an appointment with the jobcenter to agree upon quitting your minijob that they will pay Bürgergeld, german class etc.
