MY appointment is schedule on Aug/23/2023, in German Embassy Islamabad, but I don't have much time in my passport, it expire in Oct-2023, & getting new passport is not easy these days. What should I do?

Dear FS, thank you your question. Could you please let me know what the appointment at the German Embassy in Islamabad is for? There is an e-mail from the GIZ which helps in cases the passport is no longer valid. Madam i'm still in Afghanistan and going to for study to Germany, no security or any other case.
Hello FS, sorry for the late reply. So in principle you can extend the passport at in Afghanistan. This should not be a problem you can also do this outside of Afghanistan in the respective consulates and embassies. Without a valid passport you can unfortunately, not receive a visa.
