I have germany residence permit till 2025 , I was living in germany for one year but due to some problems I had to leave germany toward Canada !
I left germany on 15 december 2022 and now the problem is that its more then 6 months i am living away from germany .
Please kindly guide me and show me any way to solve this problem , I want to book my tickets to come back germany with my chlid.

Hello pari, thank you for getting back to me. You can find what type of residence permit or “Aufenhaltstitel” you have on the card, there should be a little legal clause under remarks or "Annmerkungen". Usually, your residence permit expires after being abroad for more than 6 months without any interruptions. It is best to ask the immigration office for permission in writing before you leave for a longer period of time (6 months or above).

However, there are exceptions that can apply. For example, if you have a so called Blue card then you and your child can leave Germany up to 12 consecutive months months, without affecting the validity of your residence permit.

If none of those exceptions apply to you. That unfortunately means that you will have to go to the embassy and apply for a new visa. In case you are a citizen of Canada, you can also enter Germany for 90 days without a visa.

Our resident permit is (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) and I really want to come back germany and i contact embassy of germany in toronto they asked a latter (Vorubzustimmung) but StadeAachen told me that they will not give it to me.
Now iam really in stress how can i come back .
Dear pari we would really like to support you with the possible next steps. Therefore, as my colleague already asked you, we need to know on which basis you were here. "Aufenthaltserlaubnis" only means residence permit. The basis is mentioned underneath that line, most likely as a combination of numbers, e.g. §18 AufenthG means that the basis is something with work.
I attached you an example of a residence permit card and marked the necessary line in yellow. Could you please check the yellow box and tell me what is written on your card?

Thanks alot iam really in bad situation .... i really don't know how i come back i asked the Aachen ausländerbehörde to get vorabzustimmung to re.enter back but they told me we can't give you.

In general your current residence status is a humanitarian status, similar to a recognized refugee.
You already applied for the so called "Visum für Wiedereinreise" at the German Embassy in Canada, correct? Indeed, you will need the so called "Vorabzustimmung" of the Ausländerbehörde in Aachen, you mentioned they have rejected this. Did they tell you the reason for the rejection?
