Hello, Yara _Community Manager I hope this message finds you well. I just want to ask a question. I received an email from sekretariat01@bapafg.de and requesting for documents about my case. I submitted the documents and only my wife passport were left. Later I submitted my wife passport as well when she prepared. After a month I sent an inquiry email in the same email reply and asked them whether all my supporting documents has been received or not. Just a confirmation email about my documents. After 20 days a received the below response email.

Thank you for your message. We have received your information.

Case processing as part of the Federal Admission program for Afghanistan is currently suspended and no new admissions are being declared. This means that your case is currently no longer being processed. We ask for your understanding.

The focus of the program is currently on the departure of those who have already received an approval of admission.

Further measures in the program are currently being discussed within the federal government. As soon as something changes in the status of the procedure, we will contact you. Until then, we kindly ask you to refrain from making inquiries about the status of your case.

Than I asked one of my friend and he told me that anyone who send inquiry email will receive such email. So your case is under a process and do not get nervous.

What does above email means?

Regards,

Dear applicants in the BAP,

Here is the current status of the BAP (today’s information):

Selection rounds:

Unfortunately, the only information the federal government has for us NGOs at the moment is that the BAP will no longer be funded next year.

We do not know whether there will be another selection round for applications submitted to the Ministry of the Interior by the end of the year.

Unfortunately, the chances of this happening are quite low.

Already contacted by the BAP Secretariat:

At the moment there is a stop to entries into Germany via the BAP and also a stop to the issuing of admission promises (BAP). Unfortunately, we do not know how long this will last.

If you have already received an acceptance letter:

There is currently a travel ban on Germany. We do not know how long this will last. It may still be possible to enter the country next year if there is already a promise of admission. Unfortunately, this is not guaranteed or certain.

Unfortunately, as things stand right now, there is only a very, very small chance of entering the country through the program.

It is difficult for me to write this to all of you who are hoping to be able to enter via the BAP.

Apparently, the federal government no longer has any interest in continuing the program.

M.Talash

Best regards

Hi hi, thanks for the reply M.Talash and all the details. This information is so useful for many who are still waiting for a response from the federal admission program. Unfortunately, we are not part of the NGO's and the BAP so we do not have detailed information.

Hi Sayed Ekramuddin Wasil, I am very sorry to hear that you have received a rejection mail. It seems that there are many as you in the same position. Unfortunately, we do not know why. We are not part of the federal admission program. As you can read above from the post of M.Talash, this is the latest information from the Federal admission program. It seems there is a general unwillingness from the German government to see through with the program. Apologies that I cannot give you any further information.
Best wishes
