She must work and pay the taxes then you should show the tax papers during interview in embassy

How many months she should work to process the case?

Hi shinwari, thank you for your response. You are right, this rules apply for those that do not hold a blue passport/are not recognized refugees However, if you hold a blue passport and are a recognized refugee under the Geneva Convention then you do not have to prove that you have an income and that you pay taxes. However this easier procedure only applies, if you register for family reunification within 3 months of the BAMF's decision. This is important to keep in mind. If you miss the 3 months deadline, then, like you stated, you will have to prove that you have an income. As well as other requirements such as enough living space. You can find more information on how to apply for the easier family reunification procedure here: https://handbookgermany.de/en/family-reunification

Hi Asad seerat, if your wife has just received her decision (3months or less) she does not have to proof an income but she has to apply for family reunification. Here we explain how she can apply for family reunification as a refugee: https://handbookgermany.de/en/family-reunification
If the three months have passed, since the decision of the federal ministry for refugees and migration (BAMF), then she needs to show an income. There is not a definite number of months she needs to work. She should have a steady income. The amount depends on how many family members she wants to bring to Germany.

Yara _Community Manager Thank you soo much, you are an amazing moderator who guides people's very professionally. My wife didn't apply for family reunionification in the first three months of her refugee status. Now if she apply for family reunionification process how much income is required for one family member?.

Moderation

Asad seerat Unfortunately, I cannot tell you the exact amount. This depends on where your wife lives. For example more proof of income is required if she lives in an expensive city. She would have to ask her local immigration authority, they can calculate this for her. The amount should be around 1400euros (net) approximately. If you let me know what immigration office is responsible for her, I can also search for the exact amount.

Hello Asad seerat, thank you for your question. If you wife has a blue passport, that means she is a recognized refugee according to the Geneva convention. With this status you can profit from an easier procedure for family reunification. Which means that your wife will not have to proof her income, etc..
Please note: this rule only applies for recognized refugees.
However, in order to profit from this easier procedure you wife has to apply for family reunification within 3 months of the decision from the BAMF (the federal office for refugees and migration)
If it has been more than three months since your wife received her refugee status then your wife will have to show that she earns enough money.

We have a detailed explanation of the family reunification process for refugees, please read it carefully: https://handbookgermany.de/en/family-reunification
If you have further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
I hope that you can soon reunite with your wife.
Best wishes
