Hello, This is Mira an international student in Neu Ulm. I applied for the permit residence card as a student for more than 1 year, and it was supposed to collect the card after the fingerprints' appointment with 6 weeks, and now it has been 8 months. Every time I call or go directly to the Auslanderbehörde they say wait 6 weeks. I asked th school to speed the process up, they sent an email but it seems that it did not really affect.
Hello Mira Ishak , It's been a while since you applied for your residency card, and it's great that you've been proactive and involved your school in the process. Please, just document your communication with the immigration office and keep responses. The immigration office can be pretty slow sometimes, and the bureaucracy can take a while.
