My name Toba I live in hagen hohenlimburg NRW since August 2023 the sozialamt told me to open a bank account for my sozial geld but in sparkasse bank in our city they don't speak English I need an urgent Dari or Farsi Translater I asked sozialamt but they didn't help me I don't know can someone help me here?

Hello Toba, thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that it has been so difficult to open a bank account at the Sparkasse. Unfortunately, it is not an uncommon problem for many. There is an organization which supports refugees in Hagen. You can contact them and see if they are able to translate from English to German for you.

I am not sure if you are currently living in refugee camp/housing, have you asked the social worker if they are able to help you?
